Why does Splinter Cell Conviction run like crap?
Batman: Arkham Asylum and Splinter Cell: Conviction are both based on the Unreal Engine, and are third person action games. So why does AA run perfect while SCC lags like hell most of the time? AA is graphically superior too, motion blur for example and better LOD. I have both games on all max settings. I tried taking down certain settings in AA to see if there is that odd option that ruins performance badly, like HBAO in BC2, but the game saw little to no improvement.
Running at 1600X1200@85 Hz, Windows 7 Pro, Core 2 Quad 2.8, 3 GB DDR2 RAM, Radeon 4830 512 MB, can play Crysis Very High playable.
probably because SCC is more open-world and the system has to account for all of the area and all the possible ways to move about it.
Splinter Cell Conviction starting problem?
Hi, i’ve recently got SCC and installed it on my pc. the game loads and there you are, a person in stealth suit and the all famous night vision goggle of sam. But i don’t see any menu. i look up at the three red dots and there’s “single player story’ written on your body, but i can’t seem to play the game. Plz help
Sounds like the game is defect. Take it back and get another copy.
